Retail park at Saint-Paul les Dax

  • Wood, a material witnessing the local identity at the grand mail Adour shopping area

  • The project is about the construction of a building including 6 commercial cells to be delivered only with their structure accomplished; these cells are going to host business activities. In the outward appearance of its design, the facades of the building have been conceived to provide a discreet and dynamic image for the whole project. A wall of windows and an outdoor porch integrated to the main volume enhance the entrance to the site.

The choice of materials is meant to create a harmonious integration with the surrounding buildings. The use of wood on the main facades witnesses therefore the will to be in tune with the local architectural identity. The external cladding in metal as well as in wood has been chosen for its low maintenance and longevity.

This architecturally rigorous complex shows how our REC group works and its expertise at once. Our approach when planning a retail park aims at creating a contemporary and contextualized quality architecture as well as meeting budget constraints. Our work requires a truly effective management to take a distance from any artifice enhancing complexity in construction often pairing with a too heavy design style.
